The beauty of the passing seasons. Part one of a series of pictures I took during my time in school at Pittsburgh. I walked by this tree and statue every day, watching the seasons pass. The painting is done entirely with a pallet knife.
It turns out that this tree was struck by lighting just a few months after I painted this picture, this is now one of the only memories of this glorious tree that made you feel so small and God so large.
Beautiful 8″x8″, 5″x5″, or mini 3″x3″ Giclée print. The quality of the print is so high that the brush strokes are clearly visible.
