How is your prayer life?
Take a spiritual inventory of your soul right now. How is your garden thriving? Are there a ton of weeds and rocks? Or is your foundation firm and helping your soul bear fruit thirty, fifty, and a hundred fold?
Some of these stunning African opal beads are a vibrant green – the perfect fertile ground for your soul to thrive and grow close to God. Others are half brown or even overcome completely with brown – those spots in your life that need work, tilling and new seed to bring forth abundant life.
With this rosary talk to Mary about your life. Both the day to day and your past and future dreams. She is your Mother. She longs to hear you speak. Ask her to show you where you fail Jesus – what you need to change so you can grow in your relationship with God.
With Mary, water the garden of your soul.
When you know what you need to change – where you’ve sinned and turned from God – remember the black Our Father beads.
Black has always been the color to represent death. And in this rosary it is both our physical death at the end of our lives that we need to be preparing for so we can run to Jesus without sin, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation where die to our pride and run to cleanse our souls and ask Jesus for forgiveness.
Never be afraid of Confession. This is where Jesus meets you with open arms, just waiting to take you back. But when it is scary, run to Mary and ask her to help you.
At 16.5 inches long, with 8mm beads, this rosary is roughly the same size as your standard rosary except the centerpiece and crucifix are larger. The rosary is assembled with 49-strand steel beading wire, crimping beads, and wire protectors, so it is super strong and will last a lifetime of use. While I do strength test every rosary, it is still a handmade piece and prone to human error. So, should it break, simply gather all the beads you can find and contact me and I’ll gladly repair it for you for free sans shipping and the replacement of major parts (if you loose the spacers, don’t even worry about it).
The beads are stone and have a weight to them, which I always find helps me really focus when I’m praying. They also take on the ambient temperature of the room- so in winter I usually find my rosary to be a little chilly- just another reminder that you’re praying! But they also quickly warm up from your body heat.
The beading wire stretches slightly as it is used (this is normal – it wears in like good leather boots) so you will still be able to slide the beads along as you pray.
Features of the rosary:
Center piece: 3/4″x1/2″ pewter copper tone Mary holding Jesus with Sacred heart of Jesus on reverse
Crucifix: 1-1/2″x1″ copper tone Crucifix
Hail Mary beads: 8mm matte African Opal semi-precious stone beads
Our Father beads: 8mm black agate stone copper flower bead caps
Spacers: matte black czech glass seed beads
With a little bit of practice, you can easily undo/redo the clasp on this rosary bracelet so you can pray it anywhere. The short strand of beads makes it perfect for holding it in the palm of your hand and keeps it from getting caught on anything.
On the bracelet you have the Benedictine Crucifix (protection against demons and temptation in general) and the Miraculous Medal (Mary asked that all wear it).
Stylish, practical, and comfortable, this rosary bracelet has been my go-to rosary for months.
Bracelet measurements – I found the best way to measure my wrist size is to use my phone charger cable because it simulates the thickness of the beads when on the wrist. Wrap the cord around your wrist and make it a comfortable size. Mark (pencil/pen/sharpie) the cord, then measure it flat.
Choose the bracelet size closest to your measurement, rounding down as the beading wire will relax and get larger with constant wear, especially with showering.
7″ – average women’s size. The size in the photos. Fits snugly but not tight.
7.5″ – loose fit on an average wrist size.
8″ – snug fit on a larger wrist/average men’s size.
8.5″ – loose fit on a larger wrist/for men.
Feel free to ask for a specific size if these don’t work! Extra beads are added between the crucifix and clasp and are adjusted to order.
I will gladly accept returns/exchanges especially since this is a new item and with Christmas gifts you are buying for someone else! Contact me by within 30 days after delivery.
