A land flowing with milk and honey is how the Promised Land is described to the Israelites. God promises abundance, not just the necessities like bread and water, but those things that make bread and water even more enjoyable; milk and honey.
He hears our needs and answers them.
He answers them in abundance.
May this rosary be a reminder of that promise. Especially when it seems God is ignoring our prayers or putting obstacles that are insurmountable.
When the Israelites made it to the Promised Land they found the inhabitants to be as large as giants, and they despaired, refusing to believe that God could help them. They thought if they trusted God, they would only be lead to ruin, or that God was actively planning their downfall.
But after the 40 years in the desert as punishment for their lack of faith, Israel, lead by Joshua, finally entered the Promised Land and time after time were victorious in battle.
Trusting God. Following His Will. Not despairing. Keeping the Faith.
God is a good, good Father. He is with you. He is present, now and forever, amen.
White beads for purity, hope, faith, and, of course, milk, paired with succulent yellow (vintage) tiger eye or vibrant honey-tipped czech glass (modern), either version speaks volumes about the promise of abundance.
At 16-18 inches long, with 8mm beads, these rosaries are about the same size as a standard rosary. The rosary is assembled with 49-strand steel beading wire, crimping beads, and wire protectors, so it is super strong. While I do strength test every rosary, it is still a handmade piece and prone to human error. So, should it break, simply gather all the beads you can find and contact me and I’ll gladly repair it for you for free sans shipping and the replacement of major beads (if you loose the spacers, don’t even worry about it).
Because this rosary is made with stone beads, it has a weight to it and retains ambient cooler room temperate, which is really awesome to feel when you’re praying; it always made me focus more on what I was saying. And then as you pray the stones warm up from your body heat.
The beading wire stretches slightly as it is used (this is normal – it wears in like good leather boots) so you will still be able to slide the beads along as you pray.
I’m so excited to release this rosary! All the pieces came together so well.
