Mary’s Immaculate Heart burns first for her love of God. She is the perfect model of holiness, being born without sin (this is what “Immaculate” refers to). She is the only human who is able to love God the way he should be loved.
What better model could we hope for?
As the years pass by, Jesus keeps sending us more and more ways to learn to love him deeper. The examples are endless – in the 1300s He appeared to St. Gertrude to begin the devotion to His Sacred Heart, and again in 1673, He appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque and instituted the First Friday Devotions which is a specific way to honor His Sacred Heart.
Nowadays, He’s still continuing. In 1917, Mary appeared to the three shepherd children in Fatima, and one of her tasks that she was send by Jesus to do was to begin the First Saturday devotion to her Immaculate Heart.
In these modern times, this devotion is particularly important. As the secular world increasingly abandons God, we must go back to His “secret weapon” – Mary.
Our wound with God (stemming from Original Sin) always goes back to not trusting God. Not trusting that He is Good. That He will always be there for us. That He wants all good for us.
God has always known this – which is why he uses Mary. Mary is all human, so she’s just like us. And she completely and totally trusted God.
So if you want to learn to trust God, go to Mary. Honor her Immaculate Heart. Pray the rosary. Learn to see God through her eyes and it will begin to melt your hardened heart.
the clear background stickers are slightly transparent and will show the underlying color of the material it is placed on. It would look fantastic on a solid, light colored surface, appearing to have no edge.
The white background stickers are completely opaque and would look great anywhere, though you do see the distinct edge of the design.
